Advice girls?
I know the midwife's and health visitors change the rules all the time so I was wondering how yous make up your bortles, once boiled the water do you add formula as and when needed or do you make the bottles up and store in the fridge? X
Bakers! When making bread do you HAVE let it double before you punch it down and split it?
Since everyone is telling me to.. Here it is.. Well on mom life you stated your procedure was for a hole in your stomach.. But on instagram you "kicked cancers ass" and basically had throat cancer?.. I don't like liars!! Why lie?! I lost the people i loved most to cancer! That's not something to fucking joke about! I lost all respect for you! And if you really do have cancer why lie on mom life saying it was for a hole in your stomach?it just makes no sense to me!
Make your own breakfast! At what age do you think a child should be making their own breakfast? I have a 10 year old and I think he is perfectly capable of making himself breakfast. It doesn't take rocket science to put some waffles into the toaster, or microwave some pancakes. My husband insists that he needs to have breakfast made for him because if we left it up to him he wouldn't eat enough and it would take him forever.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
Not to mention this one over someone politely commenting that you had your years mixed up and provided proof. 🤔 Do I need to continue?

I always have one of his bottles filled with cooled boiled water. And a flask with boiling water. So i just mix the cold with hot so its warm and add the formula.
I always top up the cooled boiled water bottle with hot water xx

To make a 6oz bottle:
2oz of fresh boiled water
6 scoops of powder
4oz of cool boiled water.
That's how I used to do it for our night time bottle x

I've never used a prep machine so I don't have a clue about them but it sounds like they are good x

I agree with @abbyrose,
I hated trying to make bottles and cool them down when he was screaming for a bottle! I got a prep machine and it was life changing! Especially at night lol! Literally takes a minute and his bottle is at the perfect temp that he likes it. xx

I made a few at a time with my 1st and stored them in the fridge then warmed them up for her as and when, this time i got a prep machine and have to say it is a lot easier x

I used to boil the water and add the powder at each feed then warm it up as my daughter didn't like cold milk
Boiled water lasts for 24 hours
I used to use a jug just for that add the water then powder.

That's how I use to make them with my eldest then they told me to make them up with formula and put them in the fridge with my youngest but it's much easier doing it the way you did and I did the first time round because keeping them in fridge then I have to warm then up and like you said it's not fun when little one is screaming to be fed x @octoberbaby2019

I used to store it in the fridge but now I boil the kettle, let it cool down and put the bottles in the sterlizer then when he wants one I just go in the kitchen and make one up. I know they say the water should be boiling when you add the formula but its ridiculous cause then you end up with a screaming baby whilst its cooling down. Each to their own though! Xxx

But if the water is boiled even though not just boiled it should be okay shouldn't it because like you say it's a faf on when baby needs feeding x

yeah but apparently the water should be boiling when you add formula because there can be bacteria in the formula and the boiling water kills it. (Sometimes I do it when its warm) its just ridiculous now the amount of rules for formula I think they are over doing it! Xx

I used to make up 6 bottles at a time, 6 for the day and 6 for the night. I'd boil the kettle and then leave them at room temp (she'd only drink them at room temp) and then I'd add formula as needed. I tried boiling the kettle every time for the first week but trying to quickly cool a bottle down with a screaming baby isn't fun 😂
