Days like today I thank my lucky stars that my husband left his oil rig with his life. Yes this is my husbands hard hat after a downhole blow out fired 300 feet of pipe and a 100 pound drill bit back out of the ground under pressure.
I very rarely post about my husband unless it’s his comical meme but today I must say boy am I happy to see him in his dirty coveralls walking through our door. #OilfieldSafety

This is why we never cheap out on hard hats! Such an important piece of safety equipment in many lines of work. Glad to hear he's safe - looks like he may have a headache tomorrow that's for sure!
