Glucose test tomorrow morning.. I've heard it made people ill.. If you've had one what was your experience like?

I had one like drinking lucazade lol not bad but I was sick from it 😂

I'm suppose to book one and I'm not sure I want to, rather nervous I seen another post about it the other day apparently you can't have nothing to eat or drink from the night before you get bloods done drink a drink wait two hours and get more blood and people said it's made them sick so I keep putting it off x

Yer was a sugar drink but tasted of lucazade to me 😂

It wasn’t that bad I wasn’t allowed to eat after 10pm the night before, went in they took bloods gave me the drink which tasted like flat lucozade it stuck in my throat a couple of times but I tried to drink it quick get it over and done with. I was allowed water after which helped then long time hanging about waiting to get bloods done again. Pretty easy
