I am desperate for help. My 15m/o will not separate from me at all. He literally cling onto my clothes, hand or my leg, and when i try to (gentely) pull him off me to use the restroom or do ANYTHING he has a tantrum (no tears). He is only getting worse. He will not go to my husband or the grandparents who he knows and sees all the time. I am a stay at home mom so i do not unserstand where this separation anxiety is coming from. Our home life is usually calm and loving so he is not in need for attention (he gets a lot). I love him very much and i know he knows that but in would like for him to be able to have some independence be able to play with his toys without me having to hold his hand. Please i need suggestions!!!
So what did u do? Did your just eventually grow outta it?
I guess they had a feeling I was pregnant and didn’t understand it. Now they do and it’s fine with them.
@surfangel1980, thank you so much. I hope everything works out for u.
Same thing happen to me before I found out I was expecting again.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Am I wrong to be upset? Last night I was running a fever, weak, tired, sore, my left boob feels like it got used as a punching bag. I asked my husband to call out of work today to help me with the kid so I could get some rest. He went to work. I texted him this morning. Part of me thinks I mean. The other part of me thinks I was fine for saying that because he should've stayed home with us.
@itsamemario, you deleted your post before I could hit send but this is my comment: I don’t know if this answers your question but this is my answer.
My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk out...
