If it's actually something you believe in, why should you? If your changing it for someone else then likely it didn't mean alot to you in the first place. Changing denominations is different. Like going from Baptist to catholic. You still believe in the same thing and read from the same book. Somethings may be different but all major beliefs are there

No, I would respect their choice to believe what they want but I wouldn’t change my beliefs. To me, it wouldn’t be fair for my spouse to ask me to change to a different religion.

Not at all. I would try and understand his religion to support him but I would never push my beliefs aside. If someone expects you to give away a part of who you are and only practice what they want then they don’t respect you as an individual.

Yes, because it wasn’t my choice to be a catholic. And I really don’t practice it anyways. We are waiting until our kids are older and having a discussion with them and educate on the different ones and seeing what religion fits our beliefs more as a family. My husband and I are both open to concert if we see fit. As of now I practice the Native tradition and beliefs more than anything else.

No... That's not by "beliefs", but for the love of another human. Idk if you get my point...

If it meant that much to my boyfriend (I wouldn't get married before it was resolved) I would do my research and see if I felt it was inkine with my beliefs. If I chose to change, it would be for me and because I felt it truly spoke to me.
