So having that discussion with o/h about if he would want to use dummies or not ..what's everyones view on this .
Our LG never had one. We always said we didn’t want her to and it’s never been an issue. She comforts herself and has a muzzy for sleep xx
My oldest has one had it from about 3 weeks, my 2nd has never took to one, she comforts herself xx
My daughter never took too a dummy and I never introduced one later on either I left it as she comforted herself. My son had one as he was my first haha, but I struggled a little to get him of it..eventually I hid them all and told them they’d all gone and he never bothered tbf he never asked about them or anything I think it depends on baby when he/she is here
@sarahjane__, I think it was around when he was coming up to 3/when he turned 3 he used to bite all the teats off and I was sick of buying new ones all the time! So I binned them all😂x
@jessicabecksx oh she's started biting them, drives me mad lol don't think she's willing to give them up yet though lol xx
@sarahjane__, it did with me as well😂and some aren’t exactly cheap hahaha! So I got rid of them!🙈xx
I always said no, I've ended up using them with all 3 due to different reasons anyway. The hardest part is taking it off them if it's their comfort, my oldest it was so easy to take off him, it got took off him at 18 months and he didn't really care. But my youngest boy is a nightmare with it, as of Monday we've only been giving it him for naps and at night time, but he literally screams my house down for it at times, my goal is to have him completely off it by the end of this month. It's up to you about weather you use one or not, it's all depends if your baby wants/needs one xx
Me and my OH disagree on this, I dislike dummy's and said I will only use a dummy for when she's teething or if she really really won't soothe with anything else, my OH think it's cruel to deprive them of a dummy, his daughter had one! I think it's something personal and myself will be waiting and seeing what she's like and if she can't be soothed with anything else xx
