When baby starts getting red bumps on their body after eating something new, that’s an allergic reaction, right? You’d think I’d know this now that my baby is one, but I always get it confused with heat rash.🙈 and yesterday was a cold day, so I know for sure it’s not a heat rash.😅

@miaheka, yeah the MMR specifically Emerson’s pediatrician said it almost always causes them to have a fever . They could develop
A rash also . But if he didn’t get that shot yet then it’s probably the Mango? Or did he have something else he’s never had before ? Like cake or cookies ?
@momofemersonbliss, He doesn’t have a fever... just little red bumps MPs on his body. He had cake on Wednesday and Saturday for his cake smash and party, and he also had the same bumps the next couple of days. He ate mango yesterday and a couple hours later had red bumps on his body as well. Nothing too serious, but I rubbed on the hydrocortisone his pedi gave me for these kind of things, and they’re starting to fade away.

Yes that’s a allergic reaction ... you don’t have an epiPen I think you should go to the hospital

@mommydutieskoko, I am. I think it was just a mild allergic reaction to mango, and nothing really serious. He’s still happy, playful and breathing normally, which is the only reason why I’m not too worried. His 1 year checkup is this weekend, so I’m definitely going to mention it to her.
