Can anyone tell me what an ovarian cyst feels like? I have PCOS & have had them before but nothing like the pain I’m experiencing right now. I just tried to workout & the pain is so bad it almost had me to tears. It’s been a constant sharp pain where my right ovary would be. It’s been painful to have sex & I can’t even enjoy it anymore. Which is making it hard to try to get pregnant 😩😩

That’s pretty much what mine felt like. I also felt like my insides were going to fall out of my lady parts... no fun. I’m sorry you’re going through that.

I should add that I ended up getting into the doctor and they said I had a ruptured cyst. So that’s probably why my pain was so bad.

I wonder how they even figure out that one has ruptured.

they did an ultrasound and said that I had some fluid in my ovary and that it indicated a ruptured cyst. I don’t know what that means and I don’t remember much else. That was back before I had my daughter. So late 2014 or early 2015.

@twinmommy1717, you could of had a cyst rupture. How are you feeling now? Typically the cysts themself don’t hurt unless they are abnormally large. If you’re still in pain I’d go have an ultrasound done to check and see the size. If you’re feeling better but kinda crappy my guess is you had one rupture. There’s really nothing they do for that except pain meds. Hopefully the pain has passed and you’re feeling better.

I actually got into the doctor today & he said he didn’t feel anything. He said sometimes our ovaries just hurt. Whatever that means. But he wants to do an ultrasound next week to make sure that there’s not a cyst or anything in there.
