I 100% don’t think the parents had anything to do with it. The Portuguese police were known for falsely accusing people to make them look better so tourists wouldn’t stop going there.

If I remember right, the dna in the trunk didn’t match Madeline. I really don’t think her parents had anything to do with it, even though it was insanely stupid on their part to leave those kids in the room alone. Looking at the mom from when it happened to now, you can see the toll it’s taken on her. I’m sure they will never be able to forgive themselves.

There was a movie on Lifetime about this that I watched earlier this year. I don’t know if it’s the same thing on Netflix? Anywho, the parents totally had something to do with it. The cadaver dog hit on EVERYTHING it would have had she been murdered and hidden and then moved. I don’t know about the whole pedophile thing. Though I’ve heard that theory. But that little girl died in that hotel room and her parents covered it up.

There's 48 questions the mother refused to answer in the initial police interview, including "why dmdid you first say to police when your daughter went missing, that she has been abducted?" If my child was missing, abduction would not be my first guess when reporting them as missing. The parents are suss as hell and are clearly hiding something. I've also always thought they sold her for sex trafficking or to a pedophile. It is truly disgusting.

I still think in some way the parents had something to do with it. The whole story is just so weird. I didn't know there was a documentary. I need to watch it. I've followed her story for years.
