Any mamas vegan or vegetarian? I kinda want to start consuming less animal products, but am not sure if that will affect my pregnancy.
Start with meatless Monday’s for a month. Then do Monday’s and Tuesday’s for a month, then Monday’s, Tuesday’s, and Wednesday’s for a month. And so on. It’s be easiest way. You just have to be strong and not let the rude remarks get to you.
It’s going to be a shock to your body. If you’re going to change your eating life style you should wait until you have baby. You’re body is going through major changes as is being pregnant and completely changing to vegan or being a vegetarian is going to be a lot of change.
Well I wouldn’t be able to do it all at once anyways, but would even easing into it be hard? Or bad?
@devyn.nichol, idk girl. I am a meat lover. I just know that a major change in your diet while pregnant is a lot. But I am no Nutritionist or anything. Lol
@devyn.nichol, it wont shook your body as long as you consume enough foods and water. I went vegan about 3 weeks after giving birth and I’m breastfeeding
At first I was dizzy for a few days but then I realized I just had to eat more !
I’ve had 2 healthy vegetarian pregnancies and I know of ladies that have had healthy vegan pregnancies as well.
Pescatarian 20% of the time / vegetarian 80% of the time.
It was not a shock to my body whatsoever.
I had more energy, and my skin looked so much better within a month.
Pinterest has great meal plans.
It’s easiest to write out a week meal plan and just follow it.
Our pediatricians both said it was a wonderful lifestyle choice for our daughter as well.
