i guess it would depend on how bad your tear was and if you feel fully healed. My stitches were still there at 3 weeks pp with my most recent baby. You know your body and should know when your body is ready.
3 weeks. It hurt a little but not bad. 2nd degree tear. Probably should've waited longer but I have no self control. Called doctor the next day and he said it was okay as long as I wasnt tearing stitches.

6 weeks minimum. It’s not just about you perineal tear. Your uterus has an open wound where the placenta detached.

6 weeks. I had second degree tearing in the front and back. It still hurt for a few weeks after that so I took it slow for a good 10 weeks.

Two lifetimes!! I only tore w my first. 16 years ago. It was terrible!!!
