Anyone have their toddler in a Head Start or /training & research foundation based program? How do you feel about it?

@momma_of_1, and he was born September 18th so idk if he’d make the cut lol
You have to be at least 3 years old to start. Since my daughters bday is in October, that’s why she was 3 years and 10 months when she started. But due to the month she was born, she won’t be in kindergarten until she’s like 6 years old.
I have my daughter who is in headstart and I like it. But next year she will be in the 6 hr program or I can have her go to tk.
@momma_of_1, that’s crazy . I’m in a similar situation , going to be leaving my job . But I don’t understand , if they enroll year around why didn’t they let you enroll , as she was already 3????
@domsmama96, girl they said no. She had to be born before September 2014. And she was born after. On October 2014. That’s why they didn’t accept her.
@momma_of_1, I’m in the Training & research foundation area . But I know it’s part of head start and it says they enroll year around so I guess I just need to go in to get more info
This year in August it will be her last year and it’s a 6 hour program. Right now she is in 3.5 hour program.
