So Hayley has a sensory processing disorder and because of it has affected her meeting her milestones they said the reason it took her a while to do things like crawl sit walk and stand was because she was literally afraid it sends her system into over load which definitely breaks your heart as a parent but we will do what we have to we have activities for her to do for therapy every hour and will just find what’s best for her to help her cope with the scary world around her
SPD mama here too. You'll get into a groove. You'll learn a new normal and it'll be ok. Read The Highly Sensitive Child. Also join am SPD support group. It's been immensely helpful.
My son has some sensory issues 🙂 its hard but the therapy will help!
Do we have to talk politics on here 🙄
Has anyone else thought of this nonsense with her being weird, not having consistent information etc. as seeming a whole lot like the beginning of Glee with the fake pregnancy?!
ladies I do believe we have a fake 😒
We have a racist on the APP ‼️
So this morning my fiancé and me went to my folks for Christmas. On our way there we had to stop at his ex fiancé house to drop off an ornament we found of hers when we were setting up our tree. I was upset because I really didn't want to see her especially on our first Christmas being engaged and our daughters first Christmas because she has been mean about me in the past. Now I come to find out that she has been asking him about our daughter and stuff like that. Do I have a right to be upset o...
My daughter does too! Her hands are very very sensitive she doesn't hold toys or sit, or even show interest in crawling or walking. We goto therapy 3 times a week since she was 4 months old.
