My husband is a polyglot (meaning he can speak multiple languages) and it’s so awesome seeing my daughter just casually babbling to her stuffed animals with the occasional French word slipped in. I remember before she could talk I taught her a bit of ASL just because I was SO tired of those “gimme” hands and wanted her to develop some patience. You moms know what I’m talking about, where they give you the crocodile tears and act like if they don’t get the object they want right this instant they’ll die. Ah, gosh, I love my family.
I truly can’t wait until we can start teaching her more! So exciting!
I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!
Will your Mom be in the delivery room?
My mom made it sound like she was gonna be in the delivery room when I give birth, and quite frankly, I would just like it to be me and my fiancé. It's our first, and I want to share that special moment with just him. I don't want to hurt her feelings, and I know this is something she would really like to be a part of. So I feel bad telling her no.
Hate adulting!
So someone in my neighborhood has 3 kittens they need to find homes for (not a breeder they just found their cat was already knocked up when they were going to get her fixed). Anyway they're adorable and my kids want one so bad. But it just isn't a good time despite wanting one myself. So I had to struggle and talk myself out of it. DH wasn't helping saying "just do it" ?. Lol sometimes I hate having to be an adult. How about you?
FTM problems...
So I've made it pretty clear that I want to buy my daughter her fist Halloween costume. Her babysitter/nanny keeps saying she wanted to make her one. I told her yesterday that I wanted to find her something that my SO and I could dress up as a family. So I told her I am going to get it. She just text me and said 'not trying to step on your toes but I bought her two costumes'. She does this all the time. Anytime I want to do the "first" things with her she immediately does it. It...
