I got the flu :( I feel so horrible! I was mistaken when I thought the flu shot meant I wouldn’t get it... any tips for uncontrollable cough???

I would talk to your ob but I believe you can use a chloraseptic spray. And you can definitely catch the flu with the shot. It won't last as long or be as hard on the body but it may still be bad because you're pregnant and that alone compromises your immune system. Another thing to try is camomile tea with a cough drop in it, honey and 2 lemon wedges
Views on getting the flu vaccine? I work on an ambulance and do not get sick usually... last time I received the flu shot I got the flu.
My doctor also recommended me getting the flu shot while pregnant ? I'm not sure if I want to or if i should ? It's all scary to me !! What do you ladies think ? Did you get the flu shot while pregnant ? Are there any risks? Or should I wait ? I'm so scared of taking anything while pregnant , much less getting this shot.. He said it isn't mandatory , just recommended.

@kennycakes, Awww sorry you feel so shitty! Take a bath,Vapor rub on your chest, back, and bottom of feet then wear socks. Drink hot chamomile tea with lemon and honey. Also invest in a Humidifier. Hope you feel better xoxoxo
