My son is so scared of baths he gets a full-on panic attack and just cries like crazy I don't know what to do I don't know how to help him
Hop in the tub with him. Bring little toys in or play his favorite show to take his mind off of it. Maybe start with a few inches of water and gradually work it up.
My son was terrified of the big bath tub until he was 2.5. We used a small infant/toddler tub inside of the bath tub and he did fine that way.
When my daughter was that age she went through a couple months of HATING baths. Just mentioning one would send her over. Now she lives for them😂
My son loves baths but freaks out getting his hair washed. I think thats just most children. I would try to show him that baths arent scary or maybe try rinsing his hair a different way.
Can you give him a bath rather than a shower? Honestly though my kids all went through this phase. It would come out of no where and would tend to disappear as fast as it would appear. Just another one of those things everyone forgets to mention lol. When my kids would go through this stage I'd just go as fast as possible and be done. Nothing else you can really do.
Yes sorry i give him baths but he hates it espically when i pour water on his head he freaks out , i shower him as fast as i can and take him out but it stress me out bc idk why hes so scared
Mine does too he start Crying as soon as he see her water
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Ok I'm 15 And Pregnant And I Don't Know What To Do. I'm Just A Freshman In High School.
I don't care what ppl think of me, but I'm seriously considering putting my baby up for adoption. I love her with all of heart, but doing this alone is hard. Every single night she just screams to the top of her lungs and I do everything to soothe her. I don't know what to do at all. I wish I had some kind of help. I don't have a single ounce of help. I don't know a single soul in Minnesota either.
Get a large bowl of warm water. Sit on the floor and place a thick towel on your lap. Lay baby on there feet towards you. Use a wash cloth to gently cleanse baby with the warm water. Babies don't really need full out baths at that age. It's nice when they like them because they're good for them and can be quite soothing, but for a baby who has yet to love baths, this towel method is grand. Wipe him down and keep him warm by placing a second towel( this one smaller) over his tummy. Do this on the nights when he can go without a real bath. Follow with a coconut oil massage. My 2dd hated baths the first few months. Them she came to love them! 1dd loved them from the beginning. This towel method was her first bath experience when she came home from hospital. Hope this helps.
