So I am at the stage where I am trying to tolerate breastfeeding my son for another 6w then I think I am going cold turkey with him while also trying to get him to sleep in his own bed as well.

As much as I am so over breastfeeding him (pregnancy makes my nipples so sensitive and it hurts every time he latches and come on.. 25 months!)... I still want to breastfeed my daughter when she is born. My husband keeps bringing up formula and it is kinda pissing me off. My son was almost exclusively breastfed outside of his week long NICU stay before I was producing enough for him. I spent 8 damn long weeks getting him to my breast (he had nipple aversion issues due to the fast paced bottle nipples) and damnit.. worth it to give him the best. Do I wish he still took the bottle? Hell yes! But I wouldn’t change her decision.

But my husband had it in his mind it will be easier to formula feed. Excuse me? I know his ass is not going to wake up for every nightly feed for months or longer and I sure as hell am not going to wake up and make a bottle rather than be able to pop a boob in baby’s mouth and fall the hell back to sleep!

Like I am good if we can do some pumping and he wants to bottle feed her but I am not formula feeding because the cost and because I can breastfeed Just freaking fine!! So annoyed at him for even suggesting this.

(This is not to bash formula feeding moms, but I want to breastfeed my kids and will do so unless I am incapable for some reason. Fed is best mamas! 💕)
