How would you explain to your kids that their dad won't be living in the house anymore!? My kids are still young so idk, but they love their dad so much I just don't want to see the boys hurt when I tell them! 😭
I am not sure. My parents divorced when I was 7. I remember the confusion and my mother saying nasty things about my dad and that he will be homeless on the street because she did not want him anymore. She was trashing his things and cops got involved in the mess when she threw him out.
I was crying and hurt thinking my dad would freeze and starve to death. That was brutal.
All you can say/do is say he will have a separate home and will be in your life as much as he can so do not worry. We both love you very much. Reassure💗☺️
Aw man that’s rough. When my parents split, I was 8. My dad sat me down and just explained to me that while he and my mother loved me immensely, they were no longer in love with one another and had decided to divorce and my mom would be moving out. He allowed me to ask questions, allowed me to cry, and allowed me the space to process it on my own. He reassured me that nothing going on was my fault. So sorry you’re having to go through this.

You’re doing the right thing mama. I know it hurts like hell and you don’t want to see your babies hurt, but you’re doing right by them by telling them.
in a way I think they're still too young to understand... But it's got to be done! 🤷🏻 I just know they're going to be looking for him all the time and that's going to kill me 😭

I don't think so! Things was good for a while and then lately both of us have just been miserable.. It's not healthy, especially for the kids! I just don't want to deal with it anymore
I'm so sorry girl I had no idea 🙁. Like you said they are small now but it will come a point of explaining it. for now do what you feel sounds right on what to tell them and qhat not to, always here if you need to talk
