Has anyone had to take iorn tablets whilst pregnant? And if so how many a day, and what side effects did you have please…

2 a day, black poop and constipation xx

I was prescribed to take two 322mg ones a day but I only take one because they made me really constipated xx

I'm on 2 a day - they have just made my poo black 🙈 and constipated. No other side effects for me x

I had 3 a day in my last pregnancy, they made me have black poo, stomach cramps and I had to run to the loo a hell of alot!

Opposite of constipation for me, was awful

I was on x4 a day when pregnant with my youngest. They gave me tummy cramp and black stools tmi sorry.

So does everyone recommend taking them everyday as told? X

I currently take them in on 3x a day and constipated if I dont drink orange juice every day

I was on 3x a day. It made me constipated. Try to drink some prune juice it helps xx

But also, if they’re of your doctor then they should of told you how many to take and the leaflet inside should have the side effects on..

I think it’s one a day? & usually makes you slightly constipated and can turn the colour of your stool black🙈but other than that no other side affects

I take 2 and gives me a bad tummy where im unable to go 🤦‍♀️
