I love how I repeatedly told my father in law not to let my daughter root through the toy box because she doesn’t want anything out of it anyway and he keeps picking her up and taking her to the toy box no matter how many times I tell her no and tell him she doesn’t even want anything out of there anyway. At first I told him “only let her get one toy” so she picks one up and he is still holding her over the toy box then tries to put her over the baby gate so she can grab more. I’m sorry but you aren’t the one that has to pick up all these toys. You aren’t the one who has to put them back. He never picks up toys. Everyone wants to get the toys out for her out no one ever wants to help me pick them back up. The fact that I said not to let her get anything out of the box more than 5 times really pisses me off. You may be her grandparent but you aren’t her parent. So now I have mass toys to pic up on top of the toys she already had out from this morning

Idk if this is a little to harsh but my stepson is 2 and 7 months now the time outs are not working so I stepped it up a little and decided to take all toys away and tv away for whatever he has left of the day till bed time. Gets it taken for hitting us or throwing toys or kicking... He kicked me right in the mouth last night so he didn't get his toys till after nap and no cartoons and thats around 4pm is this to much??

I got her a toy dump truck and he said she shouldn’t have it because it’s a”boy” toy. I said really twice because I thought he was kidding. Nope he said she should only have baby dolls and strollers.... 🤦🏽♀️

My daughter plays with trucks and cars, since she only has her older brother to play with and sometimes he plays with her dolls doesn’t bother me a bit 🤷🏻♀️

they are older, 50s. I think it's their antiquated upbringing. I argue this constantly with them. And if one of them takes my daughters dolls away from my son again I will all out brawl. No wonder we can't impact change on society with this crap. Ugh.

right my brother used to play Barbie with me when I was little now he has four girls of his own and he is playing Barbie with them too. People need to stop with “boy” and “girl” toys. It’s toys that’s all they are

A little boy told my daughter she couldn’t play with his dinosaur toys because she’s a girl. I told her she can play anything and be anything. She loves baby dolls and hot wheels lol

Savannah loves hot wheels and baby dolls too. I am going to get her a fire truck soon and this cool track that comes with cars. I don’t want her thinking she only has to play with dolls because that’s not true at all
