Mauriz has his assessment for ABA therapy today.. And they didn't call me until yesterday to tell me who would be coming out to assess him and it's going to be a man! I told them I wasn't comfortable with that but they told me this was the soonest appointment they could get and that he's the only person who can come out for the next 4 months 🤦🏻 so I just had to suck it up and say okay.. My question is would you ladies feel comfortable with a man that you've never met coming into your home like that when it'll just be you and the kids home!? I know this is probably a dumb question.. But oh well 🤷🏻

I honestly don’t think he would be that stupid to do anything knowing he was assigned to your house. I understand your concern tho. Therapy appointments are hard to come by.

@amouryaya09 I don't think so either.. But just men in general make me nervous, so this whole situation is giving me anxiety!

No and my husband wouldn't either be either. Do you have a nebiogher that can come over? I have a gun so I would keep it out and let it been seen if I had too

My husband doesn't like the idea either... But he needs to get into this therapy and I'm not willing to wait 4 more months 😩 we don't really talk to our neighbors and the only one we do talk to is a guy as well lol

Nope but I let it be known that I have an attack dog even if it is a 10 lbs chihuahua. Even if he is small I have seen him do damage.

I felt this way about my sons therapist at first, but it ended up being really great. He was my sons therapist for 2.5 years. He ended up moving and we've had women since. Looking back, I would prefer a man.
