When your baby has really bad acid reflux’s . What are some things you can do to help reduce the vomiting, etc ?

You can’t really do anything to help reduce vomiting. My daughter had very bad acid reflux and she was on the super sensitive formula and she would still throw up a ton . Her doctor gave her medicine for her reflux but said it will not help with the vomiting, it will only help with the discomfort. As long as the baby is gaining weight than she should be okay. If they haven’t already, they should definitely bring this up to the pedi.

Less food more often. Keep them sitting up at least 30 minutes after eating. You can Google it and it'll tell you everything.

@_mommyoftres Please have the doctor check the baby for tongue and/or lip tie. So much of reflux can be from those ties. My middle had this kind of reflux and so did my son. My daughter still has her tongue tie and continues to have digestion issues and she was exclusively breastfed! She went to GI specialists AND had a colonoscopy and endoscopy done and they found NOTHING. My son just had his ties fixed and we already notice a huge improvement!
