I’ll be 37 weeks on Tuesday.
Shocked they even checked me since I’m having a c-section. But, he said it’s to make sure I don’t go into labor naturally.

Wow you’re already 3cm dilated at 36 weeks and aren’t having contractions? 😳 Why don’t you just try for a vbac? I wanted to with my second but I didn’t dilate at all, not even at 40 weeks when I went in to labor.
I don’t qualify for a VBAC.
I have a weird pelvis.
They cannot / will not induce when it comes to having a previous c-section.
Plussss, I’m super against induction unless medically necessary. So, im just ordered to take it easy, pelvic rest, no working, ect until my scheduled c-section at 39 weeks.
He said on Tuesday (when I see him again) we will talk about bumping up the surgery for week 38 if I’m dilated/effaced any more, but, he also said if I take it super easy I should make it to 39 weeks. Which is my ideal situation. I really don’t want to go before 39 weeks unless it’s absolutely necessary.
@jennatess, oh no I didn’t mean for you to be induced. That’s dangerous when you’ve had a previous c-section. I just meant can you try for a vbac if you go into labor before your scheduled c-section?

I mentioned it to him, and he said “you know, it’s up to you. But, what id advice is anything after 37 weeks we should do the surgery. Only so we don’t have the same issue as last time.”
(My daughter got stuck because of my tilted pelvis.)
So, if it happens between now and Tuesday then maybe!! Haha!

Unfortunately not. I saw 3 doctors before I even tried for baby No.2, and all said I didn’t qualify for a VBAC. My pelvis is super weirdly shaped and tilted.
When is your section scheduled for? I have my group B test Monday & he usually checks when he does that. I'm anxious to see. Did you feel like you might be dilated or thinning out out at all?
My c-section is scheduled for April 2nd because I have a wonky pelvis.
We did my group B swab at my previous appointment but when I came in today for my 36 week appointment the first thing he asked was to check.
I feel tired and lots of pressure down there but nothing that would have made me think twice.
