Okay so I am sitting here in my room and I just wanna put my story out there. Got up at like 3:53 am and was like nope can’t eat or drink anything take my butt back to bed since didn’t have to be up here until 6. So I went back to bed then woke up at 5:03am and was like crap we got to hurry and take my cousin to work this morning. Well I called labor and delivery to make sure they had a bed for me which they did so got here right before 6 came upstairs and got registered. Okay so she start the iv and everything but couldn’t induce me until baby girl was awake. So I eat some ice to wake her up then not long after that we started. So 7:20 am and we r starting she checked me I was already 3cm almost 4cm. So my dr comes in about 30 minutes later and ask if when she checks me do I want her to break my water, and I said yes. So 7:26 she breaks my water and every 30 minutes they are upping my pitocin. Well time goes by no pain medication and they gave me fluids in my iv so here it is 1:45 pm and I look over at my man and tell him to get my nurses he asks everything okay I straight up told him it’s time. So he goes to the door and gets my nurse she checks my and replies it’s time. Well a few minutes later here comes Haley and all the nurses where shocked because I did all natural birth with pitocin and no screaming and hollaring. So when I get to hold my baby girl she has a bruise all over her face from birth. She starts screaming and I try and try and try to get her to latch on for breastfeeding but she latch’s for a second and stops because she is so hungry right then and there. Well we got a bottle and while I am getting cleaned up my man is feeding her and then burps her. Let’s just say that I am not giving up on breastfeeding just going to have to try harder or just pump it and store it. So we get into recovery and I offer her boob first 15 minutes on each side then if she is still hungry bottle, but it’s hurting really badly to breastfeeding because she only gets my nipple in her mouth instead of more
So far I am not producing any colostrum but I let her latch every time she gets ready to eat
@jmedina, me too that’s why I am offering her breast first for 15 minutes on both boobs then bottle after that
@kimborocks congrats my dear, now you can enjoy your bungle of joy :) such a cutie..
Holy hell!!!! So I walk into my sister's and the babysitter was SLEEPING!!!! She got here at 830 and I got here at 10, I have no idea how long she was sleeping but OMG!!! I waited for her to wake up. Meanwhile, my 4 kids are not the quietest bunch and when she did I told her she could go home. 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 I am shaking. The baby screamed bloody murder when she saw me and would not let me put her down until she left. 😭

My baby Gabriella Hope Bell is here!! I been busy but she came at 11:37am weighing 7.1 pounds and 18 1/2 inches. I pushed for 17 minutes.. I was so scared! Lol glad I got to experience it ❤️❤️ so in love.

So I've made it pretty clear that I want to buy my daughter her fist Halloween costume. Her babysitter/nanny keeps saying she wanted to make her one. I told her yesterday that I wanted to find her something that my SO and I could dress up as a family. So I told her I am going to get it. She just text me and said 'not trying to step on your toes but I bought her two costumes'. She does this all the time. Anytime I want to do the "first" things with her she immediately does it. It...
Congratulations she is so cute and my poor son was all bruised up to but he got stuck and I had a csection. Honestly if you want to breastfeed I would stop offering her formula because it will stretch out her belly. When she goes to latch tease her mouth until she opens wide and shove as much nipple in as you can. Some babies just need help at first and there should be a lactation consultant there. Obviously if she really will not latch at all then that is different.
