Military doctors won't do anything for me until I've missed 3 periods in a row.... (I've missed two)

They won't even refer me to see an OBGYN.

If I'm not having a period, I'm not ovulating, and if I'm not ovulating I can't get pregnant. It's that simple.

I am seriously about to bawl my eyes out.

How do people who don't want children easily get accidentally pregnant, But people who do, have to try and keep trying?!?! It doesn't seem fair.

Sound like imbalance hormones or pcos. What symptoms you have.

That's what I think too, but they won't test me. I had a Pap Smear last year and it was completely normal. Mil doctors only do pap smears every 3 years if they are normal.

I wanted to ask for that shot that induces a period. And see where it goes from there, that would give us info that would tell if I have an Imbalance. but he wouldn't even refer me to the GYNO to get that.

Symptoms:

Headaches

Cramps

Gas

Bloating

Hot boobs

Missed period

My OB wouldn’t do much for me either until I missed 3 periods in a row. She wasn’t a military doctor. Best of luck!

@adtiernan, Understandable! I’ve been there. Like you, I felt so defeated. It’s so frustrating when it’s entirely out of your control like that. I hope you get your period very soon!

It sucks how they won’t do anything!! It’s really messed up!! You serve our country and get shit insurance. I worked in a. Doctors office that did physicals for the VA to “make the patients happier” but these poor patients. They told us not to ask if they are hurting do it fast not to diagnose. It broke my heart. I would really try and see a regular doctor!! You don’t deserve that!

Keep using opk you can still ovulat and not have periods just a little harder to get pregnant i have pcos so i dont always have periods And sometimes I don't always ovulate. In till you can get in to see an obgyn. I understand the struggle. Took me 3 years to get pregnant with my first.

Definitely tried opks. But only for my ovulation week. It said I was ovulating but still no periods at all.
