When they continuously pull the bottle out, when they get frustrated if they’re not getting milk fast enough or when they hit the bottle whole drinking it/start refusing bottle because it’s not fast enough. My son didn’t go to level 2 until the start of 8m and he’s 9m tomorrow.
I didn’t until they started turning red in the face because they were struggling to get more out I never went pass size 2 for my oldest and 3 for my youngest

My son is on level two but that’s bc AR is thicker and won’t come out of the level 1

I never did. I personally think it's a marketing gimmick. Also, it contributes to why bottle fed babies are overfed. They should be pace fed slowly.
