My 'it will be ok' necklace has seen me through so much this past year. I found it in the boutique shop in my salon a few weeks after my miscarriage and I wore it every day. I wore it the day I took my pregnancy test for Elora. I held onto it at my first ultrasound waiting to hear her heartbeat. I held it again at her 12 week ultrasound anatomy scan, and every ultrasound after, again during the appointment where we went over her genetic screenings and to every single baby appointment too. Then the big day came where I went into labor 3 days before my scheduled C-section I grabbed it and put it on. At the hospital the nurse said I had to take it off, because you can't wear jewelry during a C-section, so I gave it to my man and told him to keep it in his pocket that no matter what it needed to be in that room. Once she was here and the anesthesia wore off the next day I asked him for it back. Seeing it next to her I started crying, this silly thing had seen me through an emotional year. From my pregnancy loss on February 12, 2018 to the birth of my beautiful daughter on February 24, 2019. I keep staring at her because I can't believe she is real. I have wanted her for so long and have lost 4 pregnancies between her and my son. I spent so much time holding this thing, rubbing my fingers over it, and closing my eyes telling myself it will be ok. It really was ok, she really was ok, we are ok and I am a mommy again. Thank you to all the women on this app who talked me down from my fears during pregnancy, it was all ok after all. 🖤

That’s such a sweet story. After my miscarriage I got mailed a horseshoe necklace that is supposed to be for luck. Mine has been with me in similar fashion. 💖
