I had a general understanding of how to cook, and then I just gained experience by cooking.

Budgeting your money if your not good with it. Especially when you first move out, there’s so many expenses that come up. Like you might have to put money down on certain utilities.

Nope and wasn't prepared lol

I barely cooked so I learned fast mostly thru cookbooks. I learned how to do meal lists shop around for best prices, and budgeting.

I'm still learning how to cook 3 years later 😂..my biggest tip as far as cooking is don't be afraid of constructive criticism. Whenever I try something new I always ask for feedback and I take it as long as he's nice. My thought is there's no point of cooking for only me to like it.

Besides that I take care of laundry, all house work inside the house. He handles the cars and outside of the house. Have a conservation about expectations for each other before you move in with him and keep your money separate for at least two years.

Lol my mom failed me in he lady department. My husband taught me to cook and iron clothes. Lol

I knew how to cook and clean and lay but he likes his clothes folded a way and he like Spanish cooking but I asked him to teach me how to cook different food so he visited him parents out in North Carolina and they teach me how to cook chicken really good

I learned how to cook from YouTube lol. Now, I cook pretty much anything.

I didn’t know how to cook! But learned fast by watching YouTube I cook everything now. Mostly Mexican dishes. I struggled the most with the rice but now I’m like a pro 💁🏽‍♀️😂
