I honestly get grossed out by washing in a laundromat. Unfortunately we will have to start washing at our apartments laundromat, and unfortunately we live in a pet friendly apartment. And i have seen what seems like dog hairs in the washer 🤢🤮
Any tips or hacks on how I can clean the washer and dryer before using it?

Run a cycle through with bleach or disinfectant before you use it. I had a communal laundry in an apartment I lived in when I was younger and used to do that. It's a hassle but it works

The only bad thing is having to spend twice the money running a bleach cycle, and time 😭

You can just wipe them down real good. Germ x makes a wipe. That's what I would do, especially since u don't want to spend the extra money on the bleach cycle..

For around $200 you can buy a mini washer that hooks up to your kitchen sink and is small enough to fit in a closet or average sized bathroom. Look into one! They're good for small loads and then your clothes that you just can't see going to public laundry for can be washed at home. Baby's clothes, undergarments, etc.
