When is it the right time to call the doctor? I have been having swelling pretty greatly in my ankles and hands in the last couple of days, but not much of an issue blood pressure wise.

Ankle swelling is normal being that far along. As for the hand swelling, as long as you don't have blurred vision, headaches, and have a high BP reading, you'll be fine.
