Just curious how many words everyone’s 18-21 month old’s are saying? I started counting my 19 month old’s vocabulary and everything I can think of right now comes out to about 60 words.

By the age of 18-20 months my daughter was talking like you and me just not always pronouncing right now she turned two ans she perfectly talks french and English ( no more baby talk)

@anicole3285, yes i was lucky all 3 older talk fast lol and never stopped now i have a one year old already starting to say 9 words soo (turned one feb 24) i wish they would stay longer my babies tho lol

That’s how my first born was too (who is now 7). She was so advanced with her speech and spoke so clearly by the age of 2, counting in English and Spanish and reciting her ABC’s. She ended up testing to skip to a grade ahead because she was at the cut off where she could go either way because her birthday was so close. I don’t remember how she was before the age of 2 though, so I’m not sure if her sister is following in her footsteps or just speaking the average amount.

that's good though. My oldest who's 10 now. He was a late talker. Didn't talk really till 3

My daughter is 17 months. She says bye hi Mama Dad and I love you. The I love yous come out almost as one word but I Know what she's saying lol and please. That's all I can think of. She is so close to saying night night it sounds like too

Lol that’s how my baby is too. “I love you” is just “ayoo.” 😂

At 18 months she was over 50. Now probably close to 70. She is also starting to form like 3-4 word sentences while talking.
like “ Mommy, Please open it “ or “ Im gonna get you “ 😂

My kids weren’t as advanced as some other kids. By 18-21 months they could say just basic words and names and by 2.5 yrs they could speak in sentences.
