Briella was doing much better with her g-tube feedings, and then we hit another bump in the road. She has an infection which is not a rare occurrence for us, we do our best to keep her wounds clean but it’s a lot to keep up with. She’s getting IV antibiotics and will be okay, it’s just so hard to see her feeling so crappy 💔

Mama, I am so sorry to see that your baby is unwell. This is the first time I can remember seeing your post. Do you mind sharing her story? Any specific prayer requests? As a mom who had a medically fragile baby in the beginning and one who has been through some terrible storms I can relate in many ways when it come to hospital stays, scares, illness, and more. I don't understand what you are going through because it is impossible as each of our journeys is different. But I have understanding and the ability to pray. God bless you and keep you!!!

She has a skin disease that causes her skin to be extremely fragile. Any touch or movement could result in wounds or blisters, she experiences constant pain and injuries even with management treatments. There’s no cure or treatment, they can only help us manage her symptoms. She can also suffer internal injuries, currently we are struggling with esophagus scarring that prevents her from eating, which we’re waiting on surgery for to hopefully fix. It’s probably a procedure she’ll need to have multiple times. Thank you ❤️
@raisingbriella I am incredibly sorry to hear of your baby's fragile state and will pray for her and the family for strength beyond your ability. I will pray for God's mercy and grace upon you as you travail this difficult path through the storm. I don't know why our babies were born with special medical needs but I know they are a blessing given from above. I don't know why any of this is happening, but I pray you will be blessed(and bless others) along the way. Here is the scripture I share with everyone that helps me in my toughest moments: 2 Cor. 4:8-10. I hope this gives you comfort. Hugs and love mama!

Oh my heart. I'm glad the gtube is going well and we will keep her in our prayers that her infection clears quickly and she is comfortable.

Praying for you all. That’s more than a full time job. So hard mama. I’m sure the hardest part is seeing her in pain 🙏

Thank you. As much as I hate her being hospitalized, it’s always a little relieving at the same time because the nurses and doctors take such good care of her (of course never as good as her mama could provide 😉) and they can provide more pain management than we can at home.

So I’m in need of help.. My daughter keeps breaking out bad.. we thought it was the laundry soap we use to wash laundry (arm n hammer) , and so we switched (ALL, and XTra) but she keeeps breaking out.. my mom made a comment saying it could be her bed... could it be? Do we gotta get her a new bed??? I just want this rash over her to go away 😩 here’s a photo of her back.. it’s also on her cheeks and chest and legs and arms.
So My coworker does not get vaccinated for anything due to religious practices and she’s worried about our job making it mandatory since they discussed it earlier this week. It’s crazy how when vaccines even started or came about we were told it would be voluntary but now it’s mandatory and people need a verification card to go certain places. We even have certain states doing lottery drawings just to make people get it. people shouldn’t fear losing their jobs or having to go against their religious beliefs when we were told it was voluntary. I think this is wrong that companies are doing this.
What do you keep your thermostat on? It’s summer I get that but it’s been mild with all this rain so I’ve had it at 74. My husband doesn’t agree with me. So I’m curious what is normal I guess.
