At how many months or weeks did you ladies pierce your daughter's ears ?💜 my baby turned one month…

What a little sweetie! That hair is beautiful. I've always read if you're going to have babies ears pierced to wait until she's been vaccinated and to try and find an actual piercing shop to go to. The piercing guns hold a lot of bacteria. Best of luck!

as someone who worked in a piercing shop it is an incredibly stupid decision to pierce your child as an infant for MANY reasons.

A newborn does not know sanitation when it comes to an open wound and will constantly be spreading her own germs to the site between her hands and mouth, newborn/infant ear piercings VERY commonly get infected aswell as tugged on which can be very painful.

Any time any part of the body is pierced it should be thoroughly cleaned 3-5 times a day with saline or proper piercing solution and that can be a very hard upkeep for busy parents.

Secondly most places that will pierce that young use guns which are INCREDIBLY unsafe and becoming outlawed in many states, they can not be properly cleaned or sterilized and have many places for bodily fluids to hide and many tests have been done to show even with PROPER cleaning they still spread a ton of germs and fluids on top of using blunt force to insert the jewelry instead of a clean cut as piercing needles perform which can lead to nerve damage and excess swelling and bleeding.

If you are still REALLY looking into it I would at least take her to a proper tattoo/piercing shop and take every ounce of advice they give you

I’d wait until after 4 months and definitely go to a professional who uses needles and not piercing guns.

Under a year. I forget how old she was.

3 months was easy to clean also
