Lily has a favorite blanket that she loves and I really need to wash it but every time I try to wash it she gets upset any tips on what to do to help with this.

Probably a cray question to ask, but when did y’all start to wash your newborns clothes and putting them away? Like I’ve been getting clothes since I found out what I was having but I haven’t taken off tags yet or washed anything. I’m 30 weeks. It’s crazy because with my other 3 kids I didn’t really wash a lot of their stuff at first (got lazy) ALSO what laundry detergent did you use if you didn’t use Dreft? I tell my son it's going to smell good again and he can grab it out of the dryer himself when it's all done and warm. Didn't work at first, but it does now lol.
