Lily has a favorite blanket that she loves and I really need to wash it but every time I try to wash it she gets upset any tips on what to do to help with this.

Make it a game. Tell her blankie (what ever she calls it) wants to play hide and seek. She wants you to find her.

I tell my son it's going to smell good again and he can grab it out of the dryer himself when it's all done and warm. Didn't work at first, but it does now lol.
