Serious question.. what if the kid is literally too tall though? A coworker of mine brought up a legitimate concern about it when she mentioned she just has really tall kiddos. Is there a different kind of car seat you can get or...? I'm just curious and want to pass on the info
I put my niece over 4 rearfacing in the extend to fit, because it was the only carseat my mom had and I didn't want to uninstall and reinstall install forward facing.
It's more likely that a vehicle is too small. I had to turn my youngest around because her carseat was touching the back of the passenger seat when rearfacing. Which is. Big no no. You want to be able to at least slide a piece of baby between carseats and carseats / the seat of car.
My friend had twins a while back and she was so proud to have them forward facing at 1 year! They were preemies and so little but it was like a milestone for her. I burst the f out of her bubble but she still kept them forward facing. To this day there's an awkwardness in our friendship because I would post stuff like this on my Facebook hoping she'd get the hint

Like okay.
So did my child but I still didn't turn her around before 2.
Even her mom commented. That's if it's safer , why did she turn her around 😂. Like yes momma get her 🤣
