Has anyone gone through this horrible gas pain after labor or c section ? What were your ways of getting rid of it ? Im still in the hospital tell tomorrow but all im doing is walking and it still wont go away I cant even lay down without having bad cramps

I walked 3 laps around the hospital area since the morning I woke up after having her .. and everytime I would get the gas cramps I would go walk .. it helped alot but only lasts a little bit and they come right back

Are they giving you a stool softener? They did that for me! The only way I was able to leave was if I could fart or go to the bathroom 😳😣 it was the worst! I didn’t go for like a week after. I hope you find some relief!

I can pass gas but only if im sitting up all the way or standing up I cant if im laying down
How much have u guys gained so far? I feel huge😭. Im already 140lbs (prepregancy was 122lbs) and Im 36,5inches around my belly. Still 9,5weeks left.

Well I. glad the lack of interest in me is because hes watching porn for the third time when he promised me three times he wouldnt. We have had 3 issues where it lead to him cheatinf before! Im glad I can be ugly. I didnt ask to be made fat and given stretch marks but damnit its our child and things happen.. Im still pretty right? am I?.. I didnt purposely try to look the way I do.. Im pregnant.. its how it works.. I thought I was still good enough. Do I still look okay?.. I keep shaking now..
So as of 1 minute ago im 27 weeks lol does that mean im in my 3rd trimester? Ovia still says 2nd :(
So I thought my water broke... i was about to freak out... Im still sitting on the toilet trying to figure out if it was pee..

Same. I just had a c section on Monday and I’m having the same issue. I can’t pass gas laying down, only standing or sitting up. They told me to walk as much as I can (even though it’s very very painful) and the gas should go away. They also said if you stay laying down that a lot patients get gas that goes up into their shoulders and they said a lot of them just cry it’s so bad. So I would suggest to walk as much as you can.
