And to whoever is allergic to metals. A lot of places sell fake stuff even if it’s stamped 925 for silver. I’ve been through a lot of them and in Europe whenever I bought silver I never had a problem but in the US it’s always hit or miss.

I’m also allergic to metals and so is my daughter, so it’s only pure silver or gold for us, otherwise we have blisters.
Another reason to wait is sensitivity to metals. I’m super sensitive to all metals and can’t wear earrings at all because they always itch and irritate my ears. I would hate for a baby to have a reaction at such a young age.

same for my ears. My mom had my sister's ears done at like 4 months but she didn't with me. I was 7 and my ears almost engulfed the earrings they were so swollen and infected

She was 7 weeks old, she loves them now at 2yrs. She would notice me having new earrings and ask to put them on her.

I’d wait til she asked . My mom got mine done early and my holes won’t close and they grew like with my ears and aren’t even anymore . I hate it .

I got it done at 3 months!! but do not get them pierced with a gun go to an actual tattoo shop if do decide to do it
