so i left my sweet tea unattended & my 13 month old drank prob half of it. should i be worried?! 😧😂
McDonald's tea has 100mg of caffeine in a 32 oz cup so unless he drank the entire cup he didn't get much caffeine
Compared to 95 mg in an 8 oz cup of coffee.
I clearly said it didn't have a lot of caffeine not that it had none ☕
i think he will be fine, my kid snags my drinks all the time, but just a few sips.
He will just need to run the caffeine and sugar off. Sweet tea is made from black tea which has the highest caffeine ratio of all teas. If anything it might move some stuff around and end this bout of constipation
Er, tea DOES have caffeine. Obviously the sugar may make him hyper but the caffeine (especially so young) might give him diarrhea. Other than that though I don't think anything serious would happen
i’m not so much worried about the caffeine part, he’s been a little constipated lately anyways & he HATES prune juice & apple juice gives him heartburn lol i’m just scared he’s gonna be aaaaaall wired😂
No tea doesn't have a lot of caffeine. I'd be more worried about the sugar. Even then it depends on how sweet we are talking..
I personally add like 2 cups of sugar to a gallon 😂
@kartersmommyy oh yeah. Their tea is sweeter than mine and I'm in the south
I said tea wasn't high in caffeine and actually you can buy caffeine free.
Omg I'm not sure but my daughter when I wasn't looking took a big sip out of my coffee the other day 😂☕
oh gosh i bet she loveddd that 😂 i’m just worried ab the amount of sugar lmao he’s def not gonna take a nap now!
Yes has way less caffeine than coffee. (I worked in a tea shop, had to know these things).
He’ll probably be hyper from all the sugar for a bit, but he should be fine! My kid sips my teas all the time .
