Anyone know anything about quad screen results that could help me out? Can I call my doctor and ask them to simplify things for me? I'm not sure how to read any of this, I just got the results this morning and none of it seems clear to me at all.

Do you have an appointment coming up? Most likely they will explain things to you when you go in.

@rariszoo, ah. Then maybe give them a call and they might be able to. I know usually if anything is concerning they call you. But for peace of mind it will help!

I believe it just gives the odds of your baby having whatever condition... and lists them as 1 out of so many thousand. Absolutely you can call your doctor.

Also, I don’t think you’d have the results if they were bad if your doctor didn’t contacted you first.

I got the results in my digital chart this morning before the office even opened. The lab sent them to me.
