we moved into a duplex, & my neighbor is stating we’ve been smoking weed inside our residence because she smelled it inside hers. first of all, i can’t smoke bc of my job. second of all i have children why tf would i let anyone smoke in my house. third of all if you walk into my house you can’t smell ANYTHING. & if y’all ever been around weed y’all know that smell LINGERS for days. if anyone smoked in my house you could smell it. my bf’s friends who pick him up all smoke and i’m sure the smell rolls out of their car but there is NO SMOKING IN OUR HOUSE & this bitch next door is telling the landlord we are. i’m livid. she’s been there 7 years and we’ve been there 1 month and she’s complaining about us. idk what to do. if she ends up calling the cops that’s my coworkers coming out bc she wants to accuse us of doing something we’re not & idk how to prove she’s wrong 😩 not only that but smoking in our house is a violation of the contract we signed so it’s reason for us to get evicted. i’m so mad. ok rant over.

If you aren’t smoking in the house then don’t worry about it. What are the cops really going to do? No one can prove it. Tell her when she sees you smoking fo let you know and send her on her way.
it’s just embarrassing the fact that those are ppl i know coming to my house for a complaint like that.. ugh i wanna go over there & give her a piece of my mind lmao
@kartersmommyy, I know how you feel. When I moved into my place 6 years ago, there was a girl who moved in a couple months before me downstairs. She knocked on my door one time and said smoke was coming through her vents and she has kids blah blah blah. I was like well it’s not us. We don’t smoke and we smell it too. It was definitely the people from the 3rd floor because the smell was coming through my vents also. Well next thing you know, I get up to leave for work and there is a note on the downstairs door that she wrote stating that she doesn’t want people smoking in the building. I was pissed off. I ripped the note off the door and threw it on the floor. She saw me through the peep hole on her door 😂🤣😂😭 anyways we are best friends now.
Well if they can’t prove your smoking in the house then they can’t kick you out hun . Try not to worry . They have no proof you did anything
