I'm so pissed off right now. My mom still friends with the lady whose son molested when i was 5. I still struggle with that till today. He destroyed my life.

While I don't think she should be punished for her son's actions, how the mom reacted to it is her choice. I could see how that would be hard. Have you talked with your mom about it?
I don't even know cause if my daughter came to me with something like that. There is no way in hell the mother and I would be speaking.

That’s asinine.. I was thinking maybe if this woman was completely heartbroken over it then that’s why your mom can justify it to herself.... but honestly as a mom, how can you betray your child like this?!
