My son will be 14 months old in a few weeks and still isn't walking yet. He will pull up and walk along the wall couch and tables but won't walk on his own. Is this normal at this age? I know they say all babys are different but as a mom im getting a little concerned.
I have talked with her. She says he'll do it when hes ready and there's nothing wrong but as a mom it still concerns me.
All 3 of my kids were late walkers. My oldest and youngest started at 16 months and my middle started around 14 months. It's like one day it all clicked and they took off and haven't stopped since lol! All 3 are perfectly happy, healthy kids!
My daughter turned 14 months on the 5th and within the last few days started walking. She has been walking along stuff since about 9-10 months old and just now comfortable to let go and walk.
Honestly dont stress it, it will be happening, and there will be no stopping him. My oldest walked at 13 months, my second son was 10 months and my daughter is 14 months and JUST started. All babies are different, even with the more you have you will see they are all sooo different and progress differently.
@mamix5 yeah thats what everyone says they all are different. Bur since hes my first i worry alot. But ill think he'll get it soon.
@brook. And thats perfectly normal, I have 5 and still get worried I'm doing something wrong or worried they aren't doing things like they should. But just give him time, then there will be no stopping him. 😁
My twins are 13 months and they are both still not walking yet. My boy twin I think will be first as he uses walkers and the dinning room table chairs to walk. My girl twin uses everything but walkers and chairs. I was told by their Pediatrician that they should be walking by 14 months. So now I'm getting worried too. My first son started a couple weeks before his first birthday
I think they just take it at their own pase. Its hard not to worry tho when you seen babies that are 9-10 months old walking.
Boy tend to be lazy my baby walk at 18 month after that no one couldn’t stop him
Really? That makes me feel better. My son is lazy too lol hed rather scoot around.
@brook., really I was worried but then doctor told me boy tend to take longer to do anything so I stop worried and little that at new he was walking at 18months
Mines been walking since 9 months but that’s true every baby is different I wouldn’t be worried yet.. for an example Just like how my son doesn’t talk and Im seeing other 1 year old say at least words.. ur son will soon keep practicing he still got time 🙂
I think they just take it at their own speed. The only thing my son will say is mama dada nana and get lol. He doesn't talk much either.
@brook. True because my son doesn’t even say that yet lol☹️ So just keep practicing he will be walking what I did was have a new toy and I put it in the air and had him stand up and kept moving it that’s what got him to walk may work on ur son!
@mamiprincess77 i wouldn't worry to much about him not talking right now. My brother wouldn't talk until he was 2. My mom took him to several different doctors they all said he was fine. He eventaully started talking up a storm. My mom said she thinks he just didn't want to talk. And Thank you ill start doing that more.
My 2nd child was a month premature and she walked at 7.5 months. Then my 1st child was full term and she walked around 11 months. I would speak with his pediatrician just to be safe. All babies are different.
