Y’all talk to me about sleep training an 8 month old breastfed baby. I’ve already tried all I know to do. The most recent change was i replaced bedtime nursing session with a big ol fat formula bottle with rice cereal in it hoping that would be the fix-all that I’ve been putting off bc I love our bedtime feeding. But...it hasn’t helped. My first baby was a dream to sleep train. This second baby is draining me of all my sanity I suspect due to LACK OF SLEEP. I’ve tried almost everything but I’m open to any and all suggestions. He slept better as a newborn. 🙄 It has been 4-5 months since I’ve gotten any decent sleep & I’m deteriorating over here. Therefore any comments along the lines of “just enjoy it, it doesn’t last long” will be severely eye-rolled. I love my baby wholeheartedly but I’d prefer to enjoy his babyhood during the daytime when we’re all SUPPOSED to be awake so that I can actually sleep at night and not lose my ever-loving mind. 🙃🙃
So far, I’ve tried CIO, cosleeping, bedsharing, bedtime routine, bedtime routine changes, music, white noise, lullabies, bedtime story, massage (which he LOATHES ENTIRELY), rocking, bouncing, ETC ETC ETC...literally all he wants is me to lay there with my boob hanging out so he can feast ALL NIGHT. And I’m sorry but I’m totalllllllly done with that. I always start him out in his crib every single night but sometimes I don’t even make it back to my room from laying him down before he’s crying again. It just seems like 8 months in, we should be past all this. K, Thanksssss
It’s really hard to sleep train when your breastfeeding , when i breastfed i kept my son in a bassinet near me he did not sleep the entire night at all he wanted to be near me and near the boob all night . Only after i stopped he was able to sleep in his own crib and all night
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
I’m at my wits end. Baby cries all day long. I haven’t eaten in almost 24 hours, no sleep, etc. nothing works. I’ve tried warm bath, warming bottle before feeding, burping 3 or more times, massaging tummy, and leg bicycling. It’s only after he eats. I thought I was over feeding so I decreased his milk intake by an ounce. Still the same thing. He poops at least once a day so that’s not an issue. His doctor doesn’t have anything open until January. I don’t know what to do at this point. I’m beyon...
I’m so depressed my husband lost his job about a month ago and he still hasn’t found work I’m 24 weeks pregnant and I don’t even thing I’ll have a baby shower and we have nothing for our baby girl all I’ve been doing is crying
Okay mommas, this is our second night home and little Ryder refuses to sleep in his bassinet. I’ve tried swaddling, feeding him before bed so he isn’t hungry, tried 3 different pacifiers, laid him down awake and asleep. Any ideas?? I just don’t know how else to get him to sleep in his bassinet and not in my arms at night.
** I had no problem with my other two boys laying in their beds but Ryder refuses to leave me.**
I just need to vent. I’m getting really tired of these night sweats I’ve been getting for the past almost 8 years. I’m waking up several times a night covered in sweat. Last night was so bad I had to change the sheets. I’m to the point of tears every night. I’ve had all testing done and they can’t figure out what it is. It’s just awful. I’m so exhausted all the time from not getting a good nights sleep. It sucks
Its so hard while nursing. I just learned how to sleep with a boob in my baby's mouth and taught them how to latch on on thier own.
