Tamiflu can cause tummy issues and mood swings. If you are uncomfortable don't give it. It doesn't actually cure the flu just lessens the symptoms. The important thing is fluids and keeping the fever down

Should I refuse tamiflu or ask for something else I don’t want to stop giving her the medicine and her gets worse she already suffers from low immune system she was born at 33 weeks the doctors still haven’t been able to give her her shots since she’s been born because she’s always had issues with her lungs

I would suggest mentioning your concerns about tamiflu to your regular doctor. You mentioned that it was prescribed by urgent care and that doc said it was ok. Urgent care doesn’t know her full history I’m sure, and are not necessarily pediatric specialists. Maybe after voicing your concerns to your regular doctor and refreshing their memory on her immune system issues they may suggest a different course of action. Maybe not. All I can tell you was that it wasn’t right for us in our situation due to the reaction it caused. If you are not seeing an adverse reaction to it, maybe it could work as intended and shorten the length of the flu

My 4 year old is on day 2 of tamiflu and has not vomited. My two year old vomited immediately with her first dose today. I am not giving her anymore. Not worth her being dehydrated from vomiting.

In my personal, non professional opinion, I would not give her anything besides Tylenol, and let her body fight it. If it isn't serious I wouldn't give her anything. Even then,if she has a fever, just give her Tylenol to keep it at a low fever, as fever fights whatever is wrong, so it actually is an incredibly important thing... I don't really agree with medical drug intervention if not completely necessary....

But again, I'm not a doctor. 🤷‍♀️

I’m sorry to hear about your sick wee one. Tamiflu is a tricky thing. Last year my daughter got the flu and was also prescribed tamiflu by an urgent care facility and it actually made her vomiting much worse. We ended up going to a pediatric hospital in the middle of the night because she was unable to stop and they told me that they had seen a lot of kids worse off for having taken it. This may not be similar to your scenario and I know that’s not an answer for you but that was our experience with it last year. Sometimes you have to go with your gut or get another opinion. Good luck and hugs to your little one

Dad's FB Video!! Did anyone see that video a dad posted on his daughters FB page? He saw a post she made where she bashed her parents and cursed them, called them lazy and told them they should pay her for stuff she did around the house... So he called her out on it and put the video on her page!! Sorry if I missed a post already about this already, but I just saw the video and IT WAS AWESOME!!! Hahahhaa!

I love how I repeatedly told my father in law not to let my daughter root through the toy box because she doesn’t want anything out of it anyway and he keeps picking her up and taking her to the toy box no matter how many times I tell her no and tell him she doesn’t even want anything out of there anyway. At first I told him “only let her get one toy” so she picks one up and he is still holding her over the toy box then tries to put her over the baby gate so she can grab more. I’m sorry but you aren’t the one that has to pick up all these toys. You aren’t the one who has to put them back. He never picks up toys. Everyone wants to get the toys out for her out no one ever wants to help me pick them back up. The fact that I said not to let her get anything out of the box more than 5 times really pisses me off. You may be her grandparent but you aren’t her parent. So now I have mass toys to pic up on top of the toys she already had out from this morning
