My little was born at 29 weeks. I remember I was so mad when the lady came in for the birth certificate and info and I was like “I don’t know, we don’t have a name yet. Thought we’d have 11 weeks more to decide.” She didn’t care. It was a total F U moment.
@kimberly_the-preemie-mom, we had her name picked out the day after we found out we were pregnant so we were lucky there.. but actually we did have issues with the last name still since we weren’t married. All the paperwork (birth certificate, health insurance, breast pump, etc) was so much more difficult because of all the stress we were under for obvious reasons. It’s a shitty thing to go through. At least our littles are fine and it’s all in the past now :)
My son was born at 35 1/2 weeks and my daughter was born at 37 and it barely went to preemie cause she was born early but her weight was full term. I get progesterone shots with all my kids cause I misscarraiged after 5 months before so I always end up with my early ones!! I hope this one cooks a little longer 🙄 fingers crossed.
My oldest was a 35 weeker & my youngest was a 37 weeker, I hate when people say that I’m lucky to have my baby so early.. because their so tiny! My mil always says, well at least their smaller longer, yeah okay 🤦♀️
I had bought preemie clothes because my first kiddo was under 6 pounds so I thought my second would be “tiny” too. Didn’t expect him to weigh 2 pounds and be too small for the preemie clothes. Ugh. I had a 40 weeker and then a 29 weeker. I thought I knew what to expect, when to plan for things. Nope, that all went right out the window with the 29 weeker.

Hahaha dd was born at 39weeks and I do not consider that a preemie.

Lmao I hear you. Mine was born at 30 weeks. I was supposed to be pregnant for like another 2 and a half months.

My earliest was almost 32 weeks woke up at 4 in the morning to my water breaking wasn’t having any contractions or any discomfort had him 3 days later
