Did anyone’s else’s periods stop when using mirena? I got my iud in November and I had A LOT of spotting and my periods were long and heavy the first three months. Since I got my last period in January I haven’t had ANY bleeding. My iud strings are there and I took a pregnancy test and it was negative (I’m SO paranoid 😂) so could this mean my period might have just stopped with mirena? Or could my period just be irregular?

for the first month I spotted and had cramping by the third month I had no period and I had it in for over a year

Yep they sure did that’s what I love about it I have had 3 of them

Yup, I haven’t had a period since about 2 months after I got mine put in. I’ve had it for over a year now.
