Elora is so fussy after feedings and I'm starting to think I'm not making enough milk. Its day 10 so why am I not producing more, my boobs never feel full since the hospital. She takes an hour if not longer on each boob and still seems hungry. I realized yesterday that I ate almost nothing all day, maybe that has something to do with it. I have been home alone every day since the C-section because since I lost my job my man has to work 7 days a week to make up for it, he even worked a few hours a day when I was in the hospital. So I am alone with the baby and my C-section pain, I forget to eat all the time. Any pro breastfeeding mommy's have any advice? I set reminder alarms for today. I kind of feel like I am failing at this and I'm scared she is losing more weight.

She's most likely cluster feeding. Around 7-10 days babies go thru their first of many growth spurt, which causes them to cluster feed. Feed her on demand, eat, and drink plenty of liquids.

Setting alarms is a great idea but make sure you’re drinking tons of water too!

You have to find time to take care of yourself in order to breast feed, you HAVE to eat and I recommend instant oatmeal it really helps produce my milk and it only takes 2 minutes to make lots of fluids and lots of water and make sure you catch up on sleep to when you can, breast feeding is a 3rd job but keep it up girl you got this but I eat oatmeal 3 times a day and I’m producing a ton of milk now

C-section babies always loose weight, if she's peeing And pooping enough, she is getting enough. She could be comfort nursing, growth spurt, etc. There are so many different reasons babies want the boob.
You need good nutrition in order to keep producing. So drink water half of your body weight in ounces and eat something. Leave crackers, trailmixes lying around. Get easy snacks such as cheese sticks, fruits, veggies.

Drinking and eating is definitely important. Your milk may b slow coming in so dnt get frustrated keep working at it it'll come. It took bout two weeks foe mines to real flow good.

Have you tried pumping? You can feed her until she pops off and if she's still rooting use a syringe of breast milk, like 1 or 2 mil and feed her that way being careful not to choke her. If she's still hungry give her a little more. Drink as much as possible and feed her every hour. It's rough but you've got this!

I had read another mom said oatmeal really helped her make more milk .
