One big project I'm doing for baby is making all of the cloth diaper newborn inserts. I'm so excited to cloth diaper this baby right from when we get home from the hospital. Has anyone else done cloth right from the start?

I say go with what you want to do. If it doesnt work, it doesnt work. Everyone was shocked when I said we were going to do cloth with my son and I got everything from: that's ambitious to -laughing- good luck with that.
I only have my little guy and didn’t start cloth diapering until 6 months. I have debated newborn cloth but I have semi large babies so I worry about how much use I will really get out of them and I think I decided to just wait on until the baby is big enough to fit my one-size stash. I really don’t like disposables now but newborns also require so much more changing too. Lol I am just not sure I can do cloth earlier on. But man kudos to you for making them! I have debated that as well.. 😂 But at this point I just want to get a few outfits made for my son and the newborn as well as some maternity pants for me before we ‘move’ for 5 months. Worried I won’t even get the time to do that!

What do you guys think of cloth diapers?
My baby has lots of clothes and shoes these are all new. I have more baby clothes in a bin that were given to me used from a friends baby who grew out. And only one pack of diapers. When's the right time to buy diapers ? And should I stop buying clothes ?
Im a FTM and I'm really deciding on Cloth diapers... any of you ladies use them...or both disposable and cloth? I say disposable for when someone in the family babysits and don't know how to use the cloth diapers #HelpPlease

I am still debating whether or not we will cloth from the get go or do disposable for the first few weeks. 😩 Everyone freaked me out by telling me newborns leak a lot in cloth diapers. But I’m also very new at all of it so I just don’t know. 🙃
