First pregnancy I was 10 weeks, this one I am seen more because of a previous miscarriage. My first ultrasound was at 5 weeks, then 7 and I’ll have another at 9. Then I don’t think I’ll be been until 14 weeks if everything looks normal 😊

It’s nice waiting because then there is no scary issues finding the heartbeat on the screen.
This is exactly how I feel about the matter. They had me scheduled for 7 weeks and I called today and pushed it back. Lol
@alyssa5792, definitely. The intake appointment can happen sooner since it’s just you talking over your medical and family health history. Since you won’t even see the doctor usually.
But yeah - there is no need to stress considering nothing can really be done either way 15 weeks or before. Might as well wait so your ultrasound will so a strong heartbeat and wiggly little Bebe.
My first appointment was 12 weeks. I ended up miscarrying that one, so the second time I got pregnant they made it for 9 weeks.

@squishymommy1, i have heard the fetoscope is muchhhh safer. I will probably do the Doppler at this first appt for peace of mind and then switch to this method. I believe I have found a wonderful midwife and I can’t wait to meet her! Did you do any kind of cool births like a water birth or anything?!
